Carthage now owns nine overall Texas high school football championships. On Friday, at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, the Bulldogs shutout Wimberley 42-0 for the Class 3A Division II title.
The win puts a cap on a perfect 16-0 season.
On Sunday, we’ll see if the Bulldogs improve on their No. 242 ranking in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
