No. 29 St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) begins climb back with shutout of No. 88 Deerfield Beach (FL)

St. Thomas Aquinas (Florida) shook-off last week’s upset loss in Arizona to defeat No. 88 Deerfield Beach (Florida) 14-0 Friday night.  Last week’s loss dropped the Raiders from No. 5 to No. 29 in the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.

Friday night, Nik Bonitto snapped a string of five quarters without a touchdown for the Raiders when he tipped a pass near goal line and caught it in the end zone giving STA a 7-0 lead.  Bonitto also had 2-and-a-half sacks, plus he forced a fumble.
