Hough made a statement Friday night with a 29-22 road victory over defending 2019 Class 4AA state champ Vance, who entered the game ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America North Carolina Top 10. The Huskies, who were ranked No. 3 in our statewide rankings, close-out the regular season a perfect 7-0.

The big difference in the game was the hough special teams, which accounted for 23 of the team’s 29 points.
