Three-time defending Open Division champ Saint Louis, ranked No. 36 in the High School Football America Preseason 100, scored 34 first-half unanswered points on the way to a season-opening 34-6 win over Kapolei (2-1) Thursday night.

Crusaders quarterback Jayden de Laura threw for 276 yards on 12-of-13 passing, all in the first half. De Laura threw three touchdowns.
