No. 37 Mentor (Ohio) takes-down another High School Football America 100 team

The Mentor Cardinals are off to a great start in 2019. Friday night, Mentor beat No. 43 St. Ignatius 38-31, giving the Cardinals two straight wins over the Cleveland area’s top two private schools. The No. 37 Cardinals opened the season with a one-point win over then No. 14 St. Edward.

Mentor entered the fourth quarter down by 14 points, but quarterback Ian Kipp and running back Brian Trobel came through to bring home the victory. Trobel picked-up 133 yards with four touchdowns, while Kipp picked-up 134 yards and the game-winning score with 5:29 to go in the game.
