No. 38 Corner Canyon beats No. 100 Skyridge for Utah 6A high school football championship

Corner Canyon won its fourth Utah high school football state title in the last six year with a 41-27 win over Skyridge. Friday’s game was a rematch of the 2022 6A championship game won by Skyridge.

Led by senior quarterback Isaac Wilson, Corner Canyon, ranked No. 38 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, scored on its first drive and never looked back. Wilson, the brother of New York Jets QB Zack Wilson, had 443-yards in total offense with three rushing touchdowns and two through the air.

Wilson ran for 192 yards and completed 15-of-23 passes for 251 yards.

CC finishes with a 13-1 record. Skyline, which entered the game ranked No. 100 in the HSFA 300, ends 2023 with an 11-3 mark.
