It was deja vu all over against for Fort Dorchester as the Patriots, ranked No. 22 in the High School Football America Top 100, saw their 2017 season come to a close Friday night, the same way the 2016 season came to a close — at the hands of Dutch Fork.  The Silver Foxes, the state’s reigning AAAAA state champs and ranked No. 39 in our Top 100, punched their ticket to the AAAAA with a 24-14 win, which avenged a loss to Fort Dorchester 41-25 on September 1.  Last year, Dutch Fork beat the Patriots 49-24 in the state semis.

Next week, Dutch Fork will try to go back-to-back when it plays Dorman at the University of South Carolina’s Brice-Williams Stadium.
