DeMatha, ranked No. 43 in the latest High School Football America 100, now owns a six-game win streak after knocking off to No. 24 Good Counsel 32-2 Friday night in a Washington Catholic Athletic Conference showdown. The victory sets-up next week’s showdown with No. 3 St. John’s for the WCAC regular season title.
The Stags jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead and never looked back. DeMatha’s defense forced five turnovers — two interceptions and three fumbles.
The #RollTide commit gets in on the fun! @DHellams2 with the long run after an interception to set up the @DeMathaFootball offense in scoring position.
