No. 6 American Heritage (Plantation) wins back-to-back Florida 5A high school football titles

For the fourth time in five years, American Heritage (Plantation) is celebrating a high school football state championship.  The Patriots, ranked No. 6 in the latest High School Football America Top 100, beat Baker County 44-15 Friday to capture the school’s second straight Florida 5A state title.

This one was never in doubt as the Patriots jumped-out to a 37-0 halftime lead.

American Heritage finishes a perfect 13-0 and will carry a 27-game win streak into 2018.
