For the fifth time in three years, three-time Louisiana high school football champ Edna Karr and Warren Easton battled on the gridiron. Saturday night, just like in last year’s 4A championship game, Karr fell behind 12-0, but once again, the Cougars rallied for the victory.

No. 60 Edna Karr was down 12-0 after one quarter at Pan American Stadium on Saturday before scoring 38 unanswered in a 38-12 victory in the Louisiana High School Football America 100 showdown.

Edna Karr quarterback Leonard Kelly passed for two touchdowns and ran for one score. Leonte Richardson ran for two touchdowns as the Cougars improved to 2-1. No. 71 Warren Easton is now 1-1.
