No. 62 Male beats No. 54 Trinity in Double Overtime in Kentucky Showdown

Male stretches its win streak to three straight over Trinity with a 20-17 double overtime victory Friday night in a battle between the two top teams in the High School Football America Kentucky Top 10. Both teams also entered the game ranked in our national Top 100.

In a defensive struggle, the two Class 6A heavyweights headed to overtime tied at 7-7. After both teams scored a touchdown in the first overtime, Kentucky No. 1 Trinity look a 17-14 lead after their possession in the second overtime.

Male sealed the win when Elijah Parish hit Izayah Cummings with a 11-yard touchdown pass.

Male is now 4-0. Trinity is 4-1.
