We all know that there’s usually a Part II when it comes to the Northern New Jersey private schools. There’s the regular season in the North Jersey Super Football Conference United Red Division and then the playoffs, which result in a rematch of the regular season tussle.

Friday night, St. Peter’s Prep, ranked No. 62 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings, upset No. 5 Bergen Catholic 34-7. Last season, BC beat SPP twice, once in the regular season and then the Crusaders blasted the Marauders 44-7 in Non-Public Group 4 championship.

St. Peter’s QB Maasai Maynor tossed four touchdown passes in the win.
