No. 8 Ben Davis captures Indiana 6A title

Ben Davis closed-out one of the most dominating performances in Indiana high school football history Saturday night.  The Giants, ranked No. 8 in the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings, rolled to a 63-14 win over Penn to capture Indiana’s 6A state championship.

During the team’s 14-0 season, it set 16 team and 11 individual records in Class 6A.

Senior quarterback Reese Taylor, who has given his verbal to Indiana, passed for a record six touchdowns in the victory, plus rushed for 131 yards and two scores.
