With the postseason right around the corner, defending 6A champ Center Grove and defending 5A champ Cathedral got into playoff shape with regular season finale worthy of a state title on the line.
When the smoke cleared, Center Grove, ranked No. 8 in the High School Football America 100 powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 14 Cathedral 21-6.

Cathedral led 6-0 midway through the third quarter on a couple of field goals.

After that it was all Center Grove. First, Drew Wheat ripped-off a 67 yard touchdown run to give the Trojans a 7-6 lead.
Then Tayven Jackson and Eli Hohlt connected for a 14-6 lead.
