No. 8 St. Peter’s Prep goes into 2-Week COVID-19 quarantine, canceling Saturday’s game against No. 39 Bergen Catholic

Saturday’s showdown between nationally-ranked powers St. Peter’s Prep, No. 8 in the High School Football America 100, and No. 39 Bergen Catholic is off. The reason for the cancellation is that a St. Peter’s player tested positive for COVID-19.

The diagnosis means that SPP won’t be able to play until it meets Seton Hall Prep on Thanksgiving. The Marauders were scheduled to play nationally-ranked Delbarton and Pope John XXIII in Week 7 and 8 games.
