No. 80 Rome wins back-to-back Georgia high school football championships

The Rome Wolves’ win streak hit 27 straight Friday night, and in the process, won the school’s second straight Georgia high school football state championship.  Rome, ranked No. 80 in the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings, shutout Warner Robins 38-0 to win the Class AAAAA title.

Rome finishes a perfect 15-0 and set a state scoring record with 758 points this year. Warner Robins finishes 14-1.
