No changes in HSFA Alabama Top 10 heading into showdown between No. 1 Auburn and No. 4 Phenix City Central

Top-ranked Auburn will try to take a big step in its drive to win the Class 7A Region 2 championship Friday night when it faces No. 4 Central from Phenix City. The Tigers are the only team in the region without a loss. Central is 5-1 in the region.

Both teams are also highly-ranked in the High School Football America national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Auburn is ranked No. 38 in the HSFA 300. Central is ranked No. 66 in America.

As far as the latest rankings, there are no changes. It’s the second week in a row without any change.
