No high school football games in Louisiana until the state reaches Phase 4…AND there isn’t a Phase 4, right now

High school football in Louisiana may have taken a big hit Monday with the announcement by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association that there won’t be any football until the state reaches Phase 4 of a K-12 reopening plan. And, for football coaches, players and fans, the bad news is that there isn’t a Phase 4 plan currently on the books.

Louisiana is currently in Phase 2 of the White House’s three-phase reopening plan. Football practice with contact will be allowed under Phase 3.
