North Carolina moves high school football to 2021

High school football in North Carolina won’t be played until next year.

The North Carolina High School Athletic Association is moving the sport to next February. The Tar Heel State is the 13th state, plus Washington, D.C. to move high school football to 2021.

The NCHSAA is going to play a seven-game regular season that will start with practices beginning February 8. The regular season will start February 26 and run through April 9.
