North Carolina’s Tuscola High hires former NFL Draft Pick and CFL QB Jonathan Crompton as head high school football coach

Jonathan Crompton, who was taken in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft, is the new head coach at Tuscola High School in Waynesville, North Carolina. Crompton is a Tuscola graduate.

During his senior season with the Mountaineers in 2004, he was considered a 5-star college football prospect, who was named a Parade All-American. He played his college football at the University of Tennessee.

Crompton was selected by the San Diego Chargers as the 168th overall pick in 2010. After spending time with the Chargers, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins, Crompton head to Canada where he spent three years in the CFL.
