The 2023 Maryland Class 3A high school football championship belongs to Oakdale. The Bears beat Linganore 42-35 on a foggy night in the title game at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.

The title is the second-ever for the school, which wrapped-up its first perfect season at 14-0.

Linganore was playing in its 15th football championship game. The own six state titles.
