We head into the postseason with defending 6A champ Oakland ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Tennessee Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football. Maryville with 17 state championships ends the regular season ranked No. 2.
Many are expecting Oakland and Maryville to roll into the state semifinals where they’ve met for seven straight years.
On the other side of the bracket is No. 7 Summit, which won the 5A state title last year.
One change in the Top 10 is near the bottom where Briarcrest Christian falls two spots to No. 9 after losing to Ensworth in their season finale.
