It’s been a great start to the 2019 high school football season in the Buckeye State with several matchups between the top teams in the state. This weekend, four-time defending state champ and No. 2 Archbishop Hoban plays No. 5 St. Ignatius, which is coming off a loss to new No. 1 Mentor.

After back-to-back wins over the Wildcats and No. 3 St. Edward, top-ranked Mentor plays Canada’s Clarkson Football North. Defending Division I champ St. Ed has an interstate battle against Pennsylvania-power Cathedral Prep, which has won three straight state titles.
