La Salle moves from No. 11 to No. 7 after beating former No. 7 St. Xavier 22-15. The Lancers also moved into the High School Football America 100 national rankings at No. 91.

In two weeks, La Salle will battle No. 6 Elder for the Greater Catholic League South title. However, this week, the Lancers face No. 14 Winton Woods.

No. 8 St. X will try to rebound from its loss to La Salle against No. 5 St. Ignatius on Saturday.

Top-ranked Mentor will try to wrap-up a piece of the Greater Cleveland Conference championship when it plays No. 17 Euclid on Friday night.
