The 2018 Ohio high school football playoffs begin this weekend with plenty of head-to-head matchups in the first round of the Division I playoffs in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25.
In all, there are seven head-to-head matchups in Division I starting with a rematch between arch-rivals No. 4 St. Ignatius and No. 5 St. Edward who will be playing on back-to-back weekends. The Tigers beat St. Ed 21-7 on Friday.

The other Division I Top 25 matchups are: No. 22 Solon hosting No. 25 Canton McKinley, No. 20 Wayne (Huber Heights) at No. 10 Hilliard Davidson, defending champ Pickerington Central, ranked No. 18 this week, plays No. 11 Hilliard Bradley, No. 2 Colerain takes on No. 15 St. Xavier and No. 9 Archbishop Moeller plays No. 12 Elder.
On the national scene, Massillon Washington enters the High School Football America 100 at No. 100.
