Jenks TrojansWith Jenks and Union ready for their annual backyard brawl this week, both teams, as usual, sit 1-2 in the first in-season Associated Press High School Oklahoma high school football rankings.  Jenks is ranked #15 in High School Football America’s national Top 25, after a season opening win over Bixby. Union is 0-1 after losing in overtime on the road to Southlake Carroll (Texas), the #19 team in our Top 25 poll.

Here is The Associated Press’ Oklahoma high school football poll with first place votes in parentheses, records, points and ranking in last week’s poll, records through September 8. Points for classes A through 6A based on 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 scoring. Points for classes B and C based on 5-4-3-2-1 scoring.
