Turnback Tuesday
On Tuesday, it was fun to look back to Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ high school career in Texas at Whitehouse High.
As has been well-documented, Mahomes was also a very good scholastic baseball player. The son of Pat Mahomes, Sr., an 11-year Major League Baseball pitcher, the Chiefs current signal-caller was a drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 37th round of the in the 2014 MLB First-Year Player Draft in the 37th Round. He was the 1,120th overall pick.
Our second Turnback Tuesday post highlighted Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway’s prowess on the diamond.
