Oscar Smith, which has spent a significant amount of time at No. 1 in the High School Football America Virginia Top 10 through the year, starts the Spring 2021 season ranked No. 1 in the state. The 2019 Class 6 runner-up, opened the season with a 64-0 shutout of Hickory.

Highland Springs falls-in at No. 2 with 2019 Class 6A champ South County is No. 3.
