Paramus Catholic moves to #4 in latest HSFA Top 25.

For the first time in weeks, there are some major changes in the High School Football America Top 10. Causing the shake-up to our algorithm that determines the rankings was Saturday’s 21-14 win in New Jersey by then #18 Paramus Catholic over former #2 Don Bosco Prep.

As a result of the Paramus Catholic win, the Paladins jump to #4 in this week’s rankings.  Don Bosco Prep falls to #10.

Taking advantage of DBP’s loss was northern California’s De La Salle, which moves from #4 to #2. The Spartans made the leap over #3 Booker T. Washington of Florida based on their Strength of Schedule in our algorithm.

Like Don Bosco, Mater Dei (California) didn’t tumble too far after a solid performance against #7 St. John Bosco on Friday. The Monarchs lost to SJB 28-25, dropping them from #13 to #18 this week.
