Pennsylvania Football Writers announce All-State High School Football Teams

6A state champ St. Joseph’s Prep is well-represented on the 2022 Pennsylvania Writers’ Class 6A All-State Team. The Hawks, who finished No. 19 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, placed six players on the team.

Leading the way is junior quarterback Samaj Jones, who was named the 6A Player of the Year. Jones.

Calvin Everett, who led Harrisburg to the 6A state final and a No. 268 national ranking, is the classification’s Coach of the Year.

First-year head coach Jon LeDonne is the Pennsylvania Writers’ 5A Coach of the Year. The Rams finished the season No. 198 in the HSFA national rankings.
