After one of the toughest schedules in the nation to start the season, St. Joseph’s Prep still finds itself No. 1 in the latest High School Football America Pennsylvania High School Football Top 25. The Hawks, who have a bye week this week, are 1-2 after another close loss to a national power, IMG Academy (Florida).

In two weeks, the Hawks will begin defense of its 6A title when it takes on No. 9 La Salle in the Philadelphia Catholic League opener.

It was a relatively quiet week in the rankings with the big changes at the bottom where Nazareth moves into the Top 25 at No. 24 after its two-point win over former No. 18 Freedom (Bethlehem). Gateway returns to the rankings at No. 23.
