In the eastern half of the state, many are looking forward to No. 1 Southern Columbia’s possible meeting with No. 4 West Catholic in a couple of weeks in Class AA.

In AAA, No. 2 Aliquippa could be on a collision course with No. 3 Conwell-Egan in the state title game down the road, but first, the Quips need to dispose of Derry this week, which re-enters the Top 10 at No. 10.
