Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic makes its first-ever High School Football America Pennsylvania Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Friars and Pandas make their debut at No. 15 after upsetting Roman Catholic 38-30. RC entered the game ranked No. 143 in the HSFA 300 national rankings.

MBAPC now turns its attention to a possible Philadelphia Catholic League Red Division title. On October 11 they play No. 3 La Salle College High School and then No. 1 St. Joseph’s Prep on October 25.

Speaking of SJP and La Salle, they’ll battle this Saturday.

Upper St. Clair makes a seven position jump to No. 16 after beating former No. 11 Peters Township 21-7 in the Pittsburgh Steelers High School Showcase Game of the Week. Peters Township falls to No. 17 in the latest ranking created with our proprietary algorithm.

No. 9 Downingtown West picked-up a big 14-7 win over West Chester Rustin, which drops the Golden Knights to No. 20.

In addition to the St. Joe’s/LaSalle Top 25 matchup, No. 8 Central Bucks South will square-off with No. 22 North Penn in a battle of unbeatens.
