Easton breaks into the statewide rankings at No. 20 after handing previously unbeaten Freedom (Bethlehem) its first loss of the season. The Red Rovers 25-21 win drops the Patriots from No. 18 to No. 23 in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.
Central Bucks West makes its 2024 debut in the Top 25 at No. 23 after beating North Penn 17-14, dropping the Knights from No. 21 to No. 25 this week.
Out west, North Allegheny moves up a notch to No. 8 this week after handing No. 6 Pine-Richland its first loss. Despite the 28-21 loss, the Rams stay at No. 6.
Top-ranked La Salle College HS can wrap-up the Philadelphia Catholic League’s Red Division title this week when it plays No. 5 Roman Catholic. A loss by the Explorers would open the door for the winner of No. 2 St. Joseph’s Prep versus No. 12 Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast game to share the title.
In another Top 25 head-to-head, No. 12 Bishop McDevitt squares-off with No. 25 State College.
