For the first time in twenty years, Phillipsburg has beaten arch-rival Easton in back-to-back seasons in their heated Thanksgiving Day rivalry. Thursday morning at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, P’burg used a strong ground game to rout Easton 47-12 in the 116th installment of the rivalry.

Phillipsburg ran for 319 yards, with all of their seven scores coming on the ground. The 35-point margin of victory is the Stateliners’ second biggest in the history of the series.
