Pierre T.F. Riggs gets one for the thumb in winning 5th straight South Dakota high school football state title

It took Pierre T.F. Riggs every second of the South Dakota Class 11AA championship game to win the school’s fifth straight high school football championship.

Cole Peterson was the hero with a 40-yard game winning field goal as time expired, giving the Governors a 30-27 win over Tea.

Game MVP Lincoln Kienholz had a huge game with 347-yards passing with two touchdowns. On the ground, he ran for 190 with two more scores.
