Pittsburgh Central Catholic finished #24 in the nation

Pittsburgh Central Catholic, which started the season ranked #22 in the preseason High School Football America National Top 25, but dropped-out after losing to North Allegheny in September, returned to the national rankings Sunday when we released our final poll of the season.  The Vikings finish the season ranked #24 in the nation.

Saturday, the Vikings beat Parkland 21-18 for the state’s 4A championship.   It was PCC’s fourth overall state title and first since 2007.
