Pleasant Grove beats Wimberly for Texas Class 4A Division II state championship

After finishing runner-up last year, Pleasant Grove is now a 2019 Texas high school football champ. Pleasant Grove beat Wimberly 35-21 Friday at AT&T Stadium to capture the Class 4A Division II championship.

Bruce Garrett rushed for 254 yards and three touchdowns to help the Hawks cap a 15-1 season.
