There is plenty of uncertainty these days when it comes to high school sports. On today’s High School Football America Podcast, I talk to Dr. Chris Koutures of ActiveKidMD Pediatrics and Sports Medicine in Southern California to address a wide-array of questions and topics designed to help student-athletes, coaches and parents during COVID-19.

Dr. Koutures currently serves as team physician for the US Men’s National Volleyball Team, Cal State University Fullerton Intercollegiate Athletics, Orange Lutheran and Northwood (Irvine) High Schools.

Dr. Koutures is an elected member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Executive Committee on Sports Medicine and Fitness. He has authored many medical publications and speaks regularly on sports medicine topics around the country.

Dr. Koutures regularly delivers sports medicine lectures and mentors residents at Children’s Hospital of Orange County and is the medical director for the Athletic Training Education Program at Cal State Fullerton.
