Amazingly, Catholic was able to get out of Baton Rouge on Thursday, three days after Hurricane Ida hit the city. In an attempt to help those affected by the horrific storm, the Good Counsel football family has been holding a fundraiser.

According to Good Counsel head coach Andy Stefanelli, one of his football parents has been asking for the donation of gift cards to places like Home Depot, Target and WalMart. The gift cards will be given to the football program Friday night, so they can take them back into the Baton Rouge community.

Below, you can listen to Coach Stefanelli talk about the fundraiser and Friday’s showdown.
