Josh Floyd is hoping 2023 is a magical season for Hewitt-Trussville, located outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Floyd, in his tenth year with the Huskies, has nine starters back on offense and six on defense.

Leading the way on offense is Floyd’s son Peyton, who was Alabama’s 7A Back of the Year. As a junior, he threw for over 2,400 yards and also ran for over 726. His 41 total touchdowns set a school record.
