After winning its first state championship since 2002, Portland finishes 2024 No. 1 in the High School Football America Maine Top 5 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Falling in behind the Bulldogs is Class A runner-up Thornton Academy at No. 2, followed by Noble at No. 3 and Bonny Eagle at No. 4.

Falmouth closes-out the season at No. 5 in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. The Navigators beat former No. 5 Kennebunk for the Class B title. It was the first state championship for the school.
