Two-time reigning Ohio Division I champ St. Edward is in a familiar spot. The Eagles begin 2023 at the top of the High School Football America Ohio Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football.
As is usually the case, St. Ed has the toughest schedule in the Buckeye State. This year, eight of the Eagles’ regular season opponents are ranked in our preseason national rankings.

With that sort of schedule, St. Edward will find itself in the national championship conversation. The Eagles start the year No. 13 in the HSFA 300.

Senior quarterback Casey Bullock is back for a crack at a second straight title. The dual-threat QB will operate behind a well-seasoned offensive line that features twins Deontae and Devontae Armstrong, who have given their verbals to Ohio State. Michigan-recruit Ben Roebuck joins the Armstrongs to create one of the best offensive lines in America.
On the other side of the ball, EDGE rusher Loghan Thomas gives St. Ed four of the top 18 Ohio players in the Class of 2024, according to 247sports Composite Rankings.
