Prosper moving-up in the latest HSFA Texas Top 25 high school football rankings

Prosper’s 29-24 defeat of Allen, moves the Eagles up six spots to No. 11 in the latest High School Football America Texas Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football. The loss drops Allen from No. 8 to No. 12 in the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

Top-ranked North Shore got all it could handle from Atascocita. The Mustangs battled back from a 13-3 deficit on the way to a 16-13 victory.

The win gives NS a piece of the District 21-6A title. The Mustangs can win the title outright when it plays Kingwood Friday night in the season finale for both teams.

In spite of the loss, Atascocita moves up a notch from No. 10 to No. 9 in the latest rankings.

No. 2 Duncanville also picked-up a quality win. The Panthers beat DeSoto 41-17, giving them a piece of the District 11-6A title. The loss dropped DeSoto from No. 5 to No. 6.

At the bottom of the rankings, Lake Travis re-enters at No. 25.

As far as the final week of the regular season is concerned, there are no head-to-head matchups.
