Providence Day QB Jadyn Davis named North Carolina’s Mr. Football

North Carolina’s Mr. Football Award for the 2022 season goes to Providence Day junior Jadyn Davis. The junior signal-caller led the Chargers to the school’s second straight North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association AAA state title.

Providence Day is currently ranked No. 252 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

The 6-foot, 185-pound quarterback amassed 3,425 yards through the air with 43 touchdowns with just six interceptions, according to stats on MaxPreps.com. According to 247Sports, Davis currently has 31 college scholarship offers.

The other finalist for the award wee Millbrook High School junior QB Mason Fortune and East Forsyth senior quarterback Jaylen Alexander-Raynor.
