Pulaski captures another Arkansas state title

Pulaski Academy picked-up its third straight state title with a 55-16 win over Wynne in the Arkansas Class 5A title game Saturday.  The Bruins were led by junior quarterback Layne Hatcher, who tied a state championship game record with six touchdown passes.  Hatcher was 18-of-35 for 405 yards for PA, which finishes 13-1 in 2016.  Wynne, which suffered its first loss of the season, ends 13-1.

Pulaski has now won six state titles since 2003.
