One of the top high school football players in the Class of 2026 will be heading to college football sooner than expected. Earlier this week, Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis of Georgia’s Carrollton High School told ESPN he’s reclassifying to the Class of 2025.

Lewis, who’s verbally committed to USC, has had two outstanding seasons. He’s thrown for 7,212 yards with 96 touchdowns.

As a freshman, Lewis led Carrollton to a runner-up finish in 7A, Georgia’s largest classification and a No. 54 ranking in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Last year, the Trojans advanced to the state quarterfinals, finishing No. 65 in our national rankings.

Earlier this month, Lewis was named the Georgia Gatorade Football Player of the Year. He also was a finalist for Gatorade’s national award.
