5-Star QB Shea Patterson to transfer to IMG Academy (FL)

USA Today High School Sports is reporting that Shea Patterson, who last week was named MVP at the Elite 11 quarterback competition at Nike World Headquarters in Oregon is transferring to IMG Academy in Florida.

Patterson, who is considered a 5-star recruit,  leaves Calvary Baptist Academy after leading the school to back-to-back Louisiana state titles.

Earlier this year, another Elite 11 quarterback Malik Henry left IMG to return to play his senior season near his home in Southern California.

Patterson is an Ole Miss verbal commit.
