Mother Nature was the big winner at the Hoover Elite 7-on-7 championships in Alabama. Rain and lightning prematurely ended the tournament with the final four teams ready to start semifinal play.

As a result, Central (Phenix City, Alabama), Hoover (Alabama), Mallard Creek (North Carolina) and Spanish Fort (Alabama) were declared co-champs. Three of the Final 4 are ranked in the High School Football America Preseason 100.
