Video Highlights of Rancho Cucamonga’s 42-26 win over Mission Viejo

Mission Viejo, ranked #28 in the latest High School Football America Top 50, jumped-out to a 13-0 first quarter lead, but after that it was all Rancho Cucamonga, which scored 28 unanswered points in the second and third quarters to defeat the Diablos 42-28 in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals.  The win sends Rancho Cucamonga (12-0) into the semifinals where it will face Mater Dei, ranked #3 in the nation and #1 in our California and Southern California rankings.  The victory also snapped Mission Viejo’s (11-1) 39-game win streak.

Oregon-recruit Jaylon Redd led the way for Rancho Cucamonga with 147 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries. MV two-way star Colin Schooler, who played most of the second half hobbled by a leg injury, closed-out his incredible career with 150 yards rushing and 140 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
